Nový učiteľ Cirkvi John Henry Newman a jeho dedičstvo v G. K. Chestertonovi

John Henry Newman (1801-1890) was an English writer, theologian and philosopher who converted from Anglicanism to Catholicism at the age of 44; he was even declared a saint a few years ago and became a teacher of the Church in November 2025. Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874-1936) was an English writer, philosopher, theologian who converted to Catholicism at the age of 48. Two different characters and yet many intersections. One of them was the common desire to search for truth and God. What did these different greats and apologists have in common? As St. Did John Henry Newman influence G.K.Chesterton? There will also be a moderated discussion with Dr. Pavlo Hrabovecký, STD, author of the book Newman and his legacy. The discussion will take place on January 20, 2026 at 6:30 p.m. at the Veritas Dominican Cultural Center. We cordially invite you to this event!!
