About event
We invite you to a guided tour, where you will learn more about the exhibition Now is the time to understand more/ Now is the time to understand more and its authorship.
"There is nothing to be afraid of in life, things must be understood. Now is the time to understand more so that we don't have to be afraid." — Marie Curie-Skłodowska
The exhibition is based on the metaphor of "cooking the frog", which describes man's inability to react to the slow, gradual threat to freedoms, rights and certainties until it is too late. Inspired by a quote from Marie Curie, she points to the need for understanding as a means of facing fear and social crises.
FOR MAAT gallery is a partner of Trenčín 2026. The Foam in the cage exhibition is an activity of the Long-term strategy and implementation capacities project, which is part of Trenčín 2026. Trenčín 2026 is financially supported by the City of Trenčín, the Trenčín Self-Governing Region and the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic. The partner is the European Union.
