About event
Star actor Garry Essendine is preparing to go on an overseas tour, but his colorful life is getting out of hand. As several relationships compete for his attention, Garry faces an escalating identity crisis and spends his last days at home in a chaotic vortex of love, sex, panic and the search for himself.
In a euphoric and surprisingly modern reflection of fame, desire and loneliness, which the famous playwright, composer, singer and actor Noël Coward wrote in 1939, we will see in the main role the star actor Andrew Scott (Sherlock, Ripley) as well as Indira Varma (Game of Thrones) or Enzo Cilenti (High Rise, Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell). Directed by Old Vic Artistic Director Matthew Warchus, the performance is captured live from the stage of London's Old Vic and presented from a recording.
