About event
Občianske Atrium: Who won the elections in Hungary?
We invite you to the first discussion of the new regular series Občianske Atrium, which is created in cooperation between Atria Banská Bystrica and the Civic Community.
Every month we will bring an interesting topic, inspiring guests and an open discussion about society, democracy and public events. We will meet every Sunday, always in the Atrium and always at 18:00.
The first topic will be the question:
Who won the elections in Hungary?
The Hungarian elections brought about a change that many considered impossible just a few months ago. How did Peter Magyar manage to reach millions of voters? What role did civil society, activists, volunteers and citizens themselves play? What decided the outcome of the election and what can we learn from the Hungarian experience in Slovakia?
We will not only talk about politics. We will talk about civic engagement, mobilizing society, hope for change and how successful civic and political movements are born.
Guests:
Ilona Németh
Csilla Droppová
Peter Tatár
Moderator:
Timotej Lauko
Civic Community Manager
