18:30 - 20:00 TRAVELING THROUGH THE BALKANS WITH VIKTOR
My name is Viktor. I love adventures, getting to know other cultures and myself through travel, mostly by hitchhiking. I've driven a little over 20,000 km in this style. You don't need a lot of money to travel - all you need is courage and a willingness to step out of your comfort zone.
At the lecture, I will share with you the story of my low-cost, spontaneous hitchhiking trip through the Balkans. I will give you useful tips and tricks about hitchhiking and overnight accommodation for free. You will also learn which places are worth visiting. Come and get inspired, maybe you'll go on a trip this summer too!

Morocco - a country of contradictions, but only in appearance. After a while, everything fits together anyway - like a collection of short stories or one big novel. Morocco is a country of storytellers. In places it seems inhospitable, but in reality it is extremely hospitable. A country of many cultural and historical layers, it is known for its diversity, inscrutability and mystery.
At the same time, Morocco is a moderate Islamic country with a thousand-year tradition of its own culture and an independent kingdom (or a series of dynasties), which experienced a European protectorate in the 20th century, and yet retained its resilience, face and ability to adapt. Morocco is a crossroads of roads that lead to where you want to go... You just have to be careful about what you imagine.
In Morocco, in addition to Arabic, French and several Berber languages, a specific Darija is heard in particular - a language that only Moroccans fully understand. The streets pulsate with an energy that can be immediate and fascinating for some, intense for others. Fruits and vegetables taste like real sun and soil - not like unripe fruits from the supermarket.
Mineral springs, majestic mountains, endless desert and the Atlantic with surfing waves in the south. Both tourism and authentic meetings that cannot be planned. And ancient Fes - one of the largest continuous urban pedestrian zones in the world, registered in UNESCO - a labyrinth of scents, colors and dead ends, where you can get lost... and maybe found. Well, everything has its price.
Morocco is not just a destination. It is an experience that lingers in a person for a long time - in all colors.
