In April, we will choose to get to know the circumstances of the creation and development of the Regional Gallery, which is celebrating its seventieth anniversary this year. Not only will we get a closer look at another remarkable story, but we will also get into the unique spaces of bourgeois houses with their own history, medieval cellars, authentic courtyards and modern presentation rooms.
We will view a new exhibition of restored works by Ľudovít Feld and Orest Dubay, and we will also remember the "Rodin of Prešov", the sculptor Dušan Pončák, whose gift forms a significant part of the permanent exhibition of Sacred Art. For the curious, temporary exhibitions of Situation III will also be accessible for a symbolic surcharge. or Andrej Mrúz's Memento.
If you are interested in the fate of the Prešov gallery, come to the Tourist Information Center (TIC) in Prešov at Hlavná 67 on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
They will be accompanied by: Astrid Derfiňáková, Lýdia Šima Fidesová and Andrea Sivaničová.
