Dear parents,
do you ever feel like you're always solving something in parenting... and you're not sure if you're reacting "correctly"?
I invite you to an intimate parents' meeting in Žilina (Hájik), where we will look together at
what is hidden behind children's behavior - and how to react to it more calmly and with more confidence.
Don't expect a classic lecture.
A safe space for a small group of parents awaits you, where we will:
- talk about real situations from everyday life life,
- and translate them also with theory,
- seek an understanding of why children behave the way they do,
- try specific approaches in pairs,
- share what works and what doesn't.
We will start from the principles of Adlerian psychology, for example:
• 4 goals of inappropriate behavior in children,
• logical consequences instead of punishment,
• the importance of belonging,
• support for courage, self-confidence and responsibility...
👉 The meeting will help you:
• better understand your child,
• gain new perspectives on education,
• experience what a supportive parent group can look like.

📅 16/05/2026 (Saturday)
⏰ 9:00 – 13:00 (with a short break)
👥 small group (max. 6–10 parents)
This meeting is a taster of parenting groups, where you can try my approach in practice and decide whether you would like to continue with a longer cycle (5 or 10 meetings).
Price:
• €59 for one parent (4 hours)
• discounted price of €49 when registering and paying by 10/05/2026
Option for parent couple:
• €85 for both parents
The meeting will take place with a minimum number of participants.
About the lecturer:
Mgr. Júlia Švecová, PhD. works as a psychologist at CPP Žilina. She completed her doctoral studies at the Palacký University in Olomouc, where she researched bullying, prevention, relationship bonding, traumatization and resilience. She also has experience as a school psychologist and completed long-term training in Adlerian counseling. Through her lecturing and publishing activities and on her @zivot_s_psychological profile, she deals with the topics of mental health and parenting.
