Oči otevřený, ruce připravený. Světy Arnošta Beneše (1900 Třebíč–1943 Auschwitz) - vernisáž

The exhibition based on the story of Arnošt Beneš, a native of Třebíč, will remind not only the existence of one of the most important Jewish communities in Moravia, but above all the personality of a man gifted with many talents - Arnošt Beneš was a photographer, painter, filmmaker, carpenter, carver, collector, accountant by profession and sales representative of the Grünberger company. The primarily visually conceived exhibition will present the Beneš family in the context of Třebíč history. On display will be never-before-published art images and paintings by Arnošt Beneš, excerpts from his silent films from the late 1930s with a unique commentary by his grandchildren, supplemented by personal items and documents from the family archive.
