Come and celebrate with us the most mysterious "sturgeon day" of the year! St. Lucia's Day was once full of customs, magic and protective rituals.
And who is the Slovak Lucia? Saint, witch or bearer of light?
✨ You will learn everything from the excellent ethnologist Mgr. Margita Jágerová, PhD.
🎺 PERFORMANCE OF TRUMPET PLAYERS
On the stage we will welcome an exceptional group of players on traditional shepherd's instruments - bugles, trumpets, shepherd's horns, whistles or shepherd's bells.
Their musical expression is based on the deep tradition and craftsmanship of the Štefánikov family and their fellow players, who are among the most prominent bearers of this heritage.
✨ BRATISLAVA LUCIJOVSKY PROCESSION
The atmosphere will be complemented by a traditional procession of luci – white, silent figures that symbolically clean the space, bring light and protect against evil forces.
🌟 COME DIVE INTO SLOVAK CHRISTMAS CUSTOMS
A combination of an impressive lecture, authentic music, interesting traditions and the festive atmosphere of the Old Town.
And whoever comes to the parade in white, will be rewarded with a ticket to our magical Christmas carousel in the Family Zone!
