"Good health!" - people wish each other, and it's not just a phrase. But what to do when health goes bad? Today you go to the doctor, to the hospital, but how was it before? Participants will pass through the places where hospitals, almshouses and asylums were created, maternity buildings, autopsy rooms, insane asylums and children's hospitals. They will be interested in building the foundations of the hospital network in the 18th and 19th centuries, the development during the period of the national revival, the division of hospitals into Czech and German, as well as architectural attractions.

The walk will start in a quiet place in Charles Square near the statue of the famous traveler and botanist Benedikt Roezl, and gradually the participants will visit several areas in Karlovy Vary. He will visit the area of ​​campuses: the main building of the VFN in Karlovy Vary, the Provincial Maternity Hospital near St. Apolinář, the Institute for the Mentally Ill with the grounds of Catherine's Garden and the Church of St. Kateřiny, urology building as an example of Prague brutalism, addictionology building - anti-alcohol clinic, children's hospital, Hlav Institute, Karlov Monastery. Despite the rather serious topic, the walk is cheerful.
