Talks & discussions
About event
Together with the guests and the hostess, we will look at different forms of censorship in newsrooms before 1989 and today. And also about what risks freedom of speech faces today and what it means for the future of journalism in Slovakia.
INVITATION ACCEPTED
📌 Martin M. Šimečka – commentator of Denník N
📌 Eva Mihočková – investigative journalist, Foundation Stop corruption
📌 Zoltán Rácz – freelance journalist
💬 WE WILL ALSO DISCUSS THESE ISSUES:
- How did freedom of speech develop in Slovakia after 1989?
- Which mechanisms today undermine freedom of speech?
- How can we support freedom of speech and fight against censorship in today's world?
During the discussion, there will be a space to ask the guest and guests questions through the Slido platform.
The discussion will take place in the info center (cafe) at Štúrová 9.
We look forward to your participation 💌
