About event
discussion on the occasion of the Day of Struggle for Freedom and Democracy
On November 17, 1989, students started the process of the most significant changes in our society, when autocracy was replaced by a chance for a democratic establishment. How far or close are we to the values of freedom and democracy that we fought for in the squares in 1989? Are students still guardians of these values today? Come and talk to the participants of the tender at the time, as well as to today's students, about how we are doing with the defense of the values of freedom and democracy.
Guests: Beata Hirt, Martin Kahanec and UMB students
Moderator: Csilla Droppová
