Maybe yes, but do your children know a hook and a comma? Have you heard a "consumer fairy tale"? Come and entertain and expand the horizons on the first Saturday. Graphic designer, multimedia artist and writer Pavel Ryška is preparing an interesting program for us: The comic was published on the last side of the Sluníčko magazine between 1972 and 1974. The events of Hook and commas can be read as a cheerful picture series, a game with expression of the comic book media and as a report on Czechoslovak society at the beginning of the so -called normalization.
~~ will introduce us to consumer fairy tales. We listen to the stories of knights who saved the kingdom with a miraculous soap, about the princesses, delivered from the enchanting scent of donuts fried to margarine, or the poor girls from whom they became queens because they were able to prepare the most foolish coffee. These "other" fairy tales Pavel Ryška collected the publication of the Czech Consumer Fairy Tales - a guide to the 100th history of folk and artificial fairy tales in the service of the consumer industry. We kind of guess that we will be a lot of wonder ... :-)
