One of the best-preserved Renaissance fortresses in Europe, the Juliusturm - the oldest building in Berlin, museums and exhibitions of modern art - the citadel is a cultural location and an island of history. With its extraordinary history, it has interesting things in store for all visitors. The public tour of the citadel gives an insight into the eventful history of the place and takes you from the builders in the 16th century to the 20th century.
