Love brunch? Love playing bingo? Then come on down to MX21 and see how lucky you are! If you haven't been there, it's beautiful and delicious! This new Mexican restaurant at the corner of SE Division and SE 21st is a muy autentico little slice of Mexico!

I picked up a Loteria game and some handcrafted prizes while in Mexico last winter and I've been looking for the right spot to host this event. This will be my first time playing, so let's learn together! MX21 has a beautiful long table inside and a rooftop space that could accommodate us if weather permits. It's a friendly, welcoming staff and the food is muy delicioso!

Our intention with this group was to foster community, women getting together to find new friends while discovering new places. Meetup is making it difficult, restricting many things they used to allow unless you upgrade and start paying them, charging everyone for everything. They've doubled their rates for group organizers, so we are currently looking for another platform to move our group to.
We will keep you posted and may need to embed the info in a photo to get the word to you. We will be moved over to something new by the end of January, 2026, so please feel free to give us your email before then so we can migrate you over. **Something to think about:**
We've started posting "unhosted" events when we find something only offered at a specific time and we think our members might want to do it, but neither Joy nor Joan can attend, because we travel quite a bit.

To keep being able to offer chances for our group to gather, **we'd love to onboard other women hosts in our group**, even if you just offer to host the "unhosted" events we post and you only want to do it once.
It's just a quick setting switch to get you set up as an organizer, a.k.a host, and listed as such in the event description.

Please feel free to suggest events for us to post, too, by reaching out to us.
No pressure, honestly, our wonderful members always make it really fun :)

**A very important group etiquette reminder:**
Unless we mention otherwise in the event description, for all of our hosted events, if you RSVP, please be certain you will attend, or please promptly change your RSVP if you know you can't. Keep in mind, if the RSVPs are less than 4, we will most likely cancel the event if it's something we aren't planning to do on our own.
We intentionally keep our event groups small, so everyone can be heard. It's a common practice for people to choose "Yes" when they first see the event because space is limited, I do this myself, too, so we usually have a waitlist. We suggest joining the waitlist, because often people on the list cancel before the event. Meetup will automatically add the next person on that waitlist to the "You're Going" side of things, so you might get to join us! If you are on the waitlist, please check in on the event a few times to see if you've gotten an upgrade. If you've made other plans in the meantime, please immediately change the "You're Going" status for you to "No", to give the next person the spot :)
