About event
We cordially invite Artforum to the introduction of the book on Slovaks and Slovaks living abroad.
Moderator and author of book projects Oli Džupinková in the book Maps 170 inspirational stories that she collected over 10 years, while working on Radio Expres. Almost 500 page book is divided into 17 chapters and is in two languages, Slovak and English.
The author will present the process of creating the book, but we will discuss individual topics such as science and research, education, community, art, but also about the departures and return of Slovaks and Slovaks. The discussion will also affect the questions of identity, cultural heritage and how Slovaks abroad try to maintain a connection with their roots.
