BME Pain Olympics Similarly, the exhibition The Olympics of Pain is based on the motifs of torture and suffering, but the author, in addition to physical pain, also deals with mental pain, when the soul is abuse, which is also a cleansing ritual deprives us of the bond of disgust and low animal body. Self -harm then becomes an act of rebirth and apotheosis.
The author does not perceive pain as the opposite of pleasure. On the other hand, suffering and pleasure mixed metallurgically into a single alloy of brutal masochistic beauty. In Bátor, cynicism is a suffocating gag in the mouth of this world, but without which he would have to scream loudly in pain. In the arena of his painting compositions full of sharp spikes, heavy iron chains and war references, the elements of Freud's death (Thanatos) are opposed to the sexualized instinct of life (Erós), with which they compete.
The author, putting himself in the role of programmer-deciurg of his ludibrious universe, depicts being as a subjective computer reality, through which we can then allegorically grasp the fact. It is impossible to achieve absolute knowledge of things about ourselves, but we can at least throw away the joystick and leave Plato's cave. Through the return to the 90 atmosphere and playstation graphics, it formulates the Rouhač Dysangelium that God is sadistically conceived by the world as its video game. It's time to press reset…
