In recent years, the form of linguistic popularization has changed significantly. While previously the main popularizers of Czech were linguists, today linguistic influencers operating on social networks are increasing. Their content addresses a wide audience and evokes intensive discussions - but often without direct links to modern linguistic research.
We invite you to watch the online lecture on Czech called "Language Popularization between Science and Influencers: Where do we pass and where can we meet?" Mgr. Martin Beneš, Ph.D., from the Institute for the Czech Language AS CR.
The lecture will be broadcast in Czech through the zoom platform on Thursday 20. 3. 2025 from 18:00 (CET).
