Open Depo Fest 2025
🎉 The first year of the open depository of the Moravian Gallery in Brno
📍 Terezy Nováková 64a, Brno-Řečkovice | 🗓 31. 5. 2025 | ⏰ from 15.00
The best of the gallery where it is not normally not allowed!
The Moravian Gallery in Brno is growing by the sixth building and unlocking the door of the open depository, the first in the Czech Republic.
This historical moment deserves a great celebration. 🎉

What awaits you at the Open Depo Fest?
Workshops with artist Dominik Forman
🎧 DJ for children during the day
🎭 performance / Kyogen Theater / Clown Břéťa and Čeněk / Maléhry with Barbora Seidlová and Nikola at the remaining
Music
🍔 Gastro zone, 🎈 chill-out zone, 🏰 bouncy castle for the little ones safe - a place where art works are kept, but the public has no access to it. The Moravian Gallery fundamentally changes this view. The open depository combines two key tasks of the gallery: to protect works of art and at the same time to present it to the public - even those that are not commonly exposed. They will see hundreds of works that have so far been hidden in archives - from Emil Filla, Toyen, Špál, through oriental art to toys, furniture and design.
🗝 The open depository changes the rules of the game. Come to open the door to the world that is hidden and celebrate with us a new era of the Moravian Gallery.
