Opening tentoonstelling 'Kweekje, kon luku!'

The opening of the exhibition 'Kweekje, kon luku!' will take place on October 9, 2025. in OSCAM, in collaboration with Prospektor, by journalist and documentary maker Nicole Terborg.

"I don't often see our stories and images in Dutch museums. That is why I have been collecting heritage and personal stories together with my sister and the Prospektor team in recent years. This year the great Young OSCAM team also joined," says Nicole.

It is an exhibition about cultures and Caribbean-Dutch families, and about how we came to root in this country. Sound and image about loss and unanswered questions, but also love and strength. The opening program includes a talk show with Nicole and two of the portrayed breeds, a DJ and of course the opportunity to be one of the first to see the exhibition.
