Did you know that Overhoeks is the oldest part of Amsterdam-Noord? And that just behind Eye was the gallows field of Amsterdam? Storypaal Noord is an outdoor exhibition about the unknown history of Amsterdam-Noord that can be visited 24 hours a day. At 6 locations, the story posts mark important events or stories from history.

changing district

Storypaal Noord is a project of creative agency Zeppa In collaboration with Writer Bas Kok . From our studio on the former Shell site we see Noord rapidly changing. Noord was the district of craftsmanship and industry. Now it is a city district where the creative sector still finds space. With the story posts we show that the city district has gone through a lot of change over the centuries and that it has been invalidated again and again.
