As art and design are our inseparable part, the "welcome opening contemporary_souvenir" event will be connected with the opening within the "souvenir_gallery" in our storefront for art and design by graphic designer Lucie Švagerková. Lucia will present her series of illustrative portraits, which are a combination of reality and her own imagination. By combining geometric elements, he places emphasis not only on the appearance of the given person - the portrait, but also on his character or characteristic feature. The mutual confrontation of lines, surfaces, colors, shapes and lines creates an original image and a visually pleasant and optimistic experience.
Portraits are always custom-made.
In the "souvenir_gallery" she will also present to us her new series of graphics called "Transformations", which she dedicated to the theme contemporary_souvenir and which represents the basic principles of our life - balance, harmony, movement but also change.
Each graphic will be signed by the author and will be available for purchase from us.

Lucia Švagerková / 1987, Bratislava
Illustrator and graphic designer Lucia Švagerková studied promotional graphics. he is currently studying visual arts animation at the University of Trnava, in addition to teaching art with a focus on graphic design at a private primary art school in Bratislava.
The curator of the exhibition is the artist and organizer of "souvenir_gallery" Diana Čižmárová in cooperation with the founder of the contemporary_souvenir concept, Nina A. Šošková.
