About event
The ruler of Svätopluk has a dilemma ahead of him: to stand up for a new Christian future or retreat to the pagan, follow the legacy of Rastislav or to stick to power at all costs? Its interior is also plagued by the personal drama of the ruler who has committed heavy moral offenses on his way to power.
Monumental historical opera is not only a probe to the ancient Slavic past, but also a convincing musical drama with an interesting inner world of the main characters. However,
The production of director Roman Polák also opens the topics addressed by the current company. Will we stand up for freedom and sustainable future or give up those who don't see a few steps ahead?
A fundamental historical theme in contemporary, visually strong and philosophical concept already on the 23rd, 25th and 27th May 2025 under the conducting of Adam Sedlický.
