Colloquium
Orality without borders: the voice and its resonances from popular print to new sound technologies
The objective of this colloquium is to present an ongoing research project on the reference topic, recently approved at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Based on the theoretical-methodological challenges of the Mecila – Maria Sibylla Merian Center Conviviality-Inequality in Latin America program, particularly from the area of medialities of conviviality, María Ana Masera Cerruti (UNAM) and Gloria Chicote (Mecila/ IdHICS, UNLP/Conicet) will discuss the scope and projections of the project. Based on the dimensions of the representation of the objects of study and the communication and dissemination of research, the transitions from analog to digital in the formation, cataloging and visibility of poetic archives will be addressed, as well as the dizzying advance of new technologies to the challenges of artificial intelligence.
Moderation: Barbara Göbel (IAI)
