About event
After the successful concert from last year, we welcome the Šarbilach orchestra back to the urban wilderness!
Sharbilach means a piece of luck in Hebrew. Currently, over 20 musicians form the basis of the ensemble, mainly graduates of art schools and conservatories, experienced musicians. Thanks to the unique melodic, harmonic and rhythmic connection of serious, popular and ethnic music, Šarbilach's style, even taking into account the unusual cast, is original and dramaturgically very diverse. This genre is unique on the Czech and world music scene. The repertoire of Šarbilach consists of original music by several authors who arrange or compose directly for the orchestra. The orchestra plays about a dozen public performances and concerts every year. He was heard, for example, at the festivals Vyšehraní, Mezi ploty, Camerata Nova Náchod, at the Jewish Festival in Třebíč ŠAMAJIM, at the Jewish Days of Culture in Holešov, Hoškov's unconventional Žižkov Autumn, St. John's Day festivities, at Atrium or at Roxy NoD
