🎵Festival Orfeus has been presenting the work of talented students of the Department of song and conducting HTF VŠMU and guests for 24 years. The aim of the festival is to support the development of the work of contemporary music and to provide the composers with the opportunity of the premiere introduction of their songs in a creative and inspiring environment where they can get feedback from their colleagues and listeners. 🟣 The festival will bring 5 music and genre diverse concert evenings, the first of which will be the opening concert of Orfeus Cathedralis, where the organists Daniel Gabčo and Kristína Gabčová will introduce new student compositions for organ. There will also be Bokes Preludia and Fuga Op. 37. As a conductor and artistic director, a student of the 1st year of orchestral conducting, Ervin Romano Fulmek. Piano works by Vladimir Bokes will be presented by renowned pianist Zuzana Zamborská. Diachenko and Gabriela Vávrová. 53. The dinner will also include a discussion with former students prof. Bokes about his pedagogical and composer's life. The
🎛️ The festival culminates will be a concert dedicated to electroacoustic work - Orpheus Elektroacoustic, dominated by decibels, visuals and unusual sound worlds. The evening will also bring examples of student media production.
