Organový recitál - Jean-Baptiste Monnot

The repaired cathedral organ will be heard at the dedication organ concert already on June 8 (Monday) 2026 at 19:00. We are looking forward to the fact that we have the honor of welcoming a truly exceptional personality of the organ world to the cathedral. The organ recital will feature Jean-Baptiste Monnot, titular organist of the great Cavaillé-Coll organ in the church of St. Ouen in the French city of Rouen. You can learn more about the artist on his website: https://www.jeanbaptistemonnot.com/

If you want to hear the renewed sound of the king of musical instruments in the Banská Bystrica Cathedral, be sure not to miss this exceptional concert. There is also still a collection going on for this recently completed repair, which you can also support: https://donio.sk/aby-znova-znel-naplno?utm_source=copylink&utm_medium=socialshare&utm_campaign=share_button&utm_content=8b69e50d-e88d-4218-894e-0bdf3e542020
