Ori Halevy: BigOldJew - Standup comedy special in English!

Welcome to “Republic of Comedy”, the new international comedy club in Lisbon’s growing comedy scene! Bringing shows with the best local and international comedians at Xafarix, a historic venue tucked away in the heart of the city. This week we are proud to feature **ORI HALEVY**!

**BigOldJew - A Dark-Ish Standup Comedy Show In English**
“A commanding presence onstage… He is like no comic I have seen, and I want to see more”
— The Scotsman, Scotland’s national newspaper

**"Hi my name is Ori Halevy and I left Israel to live in Berlin, because it's ironically safer. My mother would disagree as she is a holocaust survivor, so i moved to the one country she would never visit me in :)**
This show is about moving from Israel to Berlin, dealing with trauma through comedy and giving up on greatness, but in a fun way :)
**So who is this comic?**
Ori Halevy is a well known Israeli and international TV and Cinema writer and standup comedian (HBO, FOX). His funny “go for broke” improvisational style along with his tried and tested material has him performing every night in different venues around the world.
He is based in Berlin where he runs one of the top comedy brands there “Epic Comedy Berlin”. Catch him now for cheap before he becomes famous... or dies!

**So how much is it?**
This is a “Pay what you want” show, which means you can come in to the show, see what you think it’s worth, and donate at the end. Suggested donation is around 10-15 Euros, which largely goes to cover the costs of putting up the show.

**But whatever you do, please do reserve because seating is limited!**
Doors are at 8:30pm, show is at 9pm.
Come down, bring your friends and let’s have some fun!
