Oriental Four Seasons

Oriental Four Seasons is a music performance with oriental ink paintings by artists and musicians from different countries in the world

Oriental Four Seasons is a music performance with oriental ink paintings by artists and musicians from different countries in the world: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea and the Netherlands. The most famous piece by Italian composer Vivaldi 'The Four Seasons' forms the basis. Each season consists of an arrangement of a fragment from the four seasons and a new composition written by contemporary composers, who are inspired by oriental folk songs and poetry. In sync with the music, the film shows how the artist draws the ink paintings with her brushstroke behind the screen. All this gives you a multisensory experience with and of Eastern and Western cultures.
