The French Ensemble La Tempore makes its debut in the Muziekgebouw with a concert devoted to one composer: Orlando di Lasso. The versatility of this 16th-century composer and the many adventures he experienced inspired artistic director Simon-Pierre Bestion to a striking sound monography. The novel Orlando by Virginia Woolf also plays an important role in this. Moeiteloos zet het ensemble elektrische gitaren en eeuwenoude cornetten naast elkaar om de muziek zo rijk mogelijk over te brengen.
