ORTOPHOTO

The ORTHOPHOTO exhibition is a laboratory in its own way, but necessarily a very special one. It is a laboratory where the boundaries between different types of cognition, between science and art, or between humans and non-human entities are blurred.
It offers the viewer a number of stimuli that challenge some common dualisms, such as man versus animal, culture versus nature, or technology versus biology. Accordingly, he rejects the Cartesian model of the body as a machine, which in effect separated the body from the soul and reduced animals to automata.

The viewer's point of view here becomes a performance that shapes the meaning of the exhibition, while stimulating empathy and awareness of the broader interconnectedness between human and non-human entities.

It creates a space where the viewer is not only a passive observer, but becomes an active co-creator. By engaging in a laboratory of metaphorical "co-creation" (sympoiesis, according to Donna Haraway), his perspective and interaction become a vehicle that reveals new connections between different media, disciplines or entities - be it between human and animal, technology or ecological processes. The viewer is not just an observer, but an "expert" who discovers his own relationships and meanings.
