It's Easter at the Palace of Ajuda! The kings who have inhabited the palace the longest: their majesties El King D. Louis I of Bragança and the Queen Consort D. Maria Pia de Savoy are preparing for this celebration by opening the doors of the palace to celebrate the Easter with the families.
This initiative is based on real historical facts, namely by Easter time during which Queen D. Maria Pia opened the palace doors to the community, offering almonds to visitors.
