About event

Come by and sing along when old Easter traditions in Vienna are not only fun, but also save lives!

Dear friends, dear Ukrainian community and Viennese women and Viennese! We cordially invite you to a big family celebration - to the Ukrainian Easter singing, which connects hearts and helps Ukraine.

📍 Where: Inner courtyard of the Academy of Sciences (Doktor-Ignaz-Seipel-Platz 1, 1010 Vienna)
📅 When: May 10th (Sunday), 2:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
🎟️ Admission: free (voluntary donations are warmly welcome!)

Our goal this year: Collecting donations for ambulances in cooperation with the relief fund Hela Flanko - Help for Ukraine.

This is what awaits you in the program:

🌿 Traditions: Authentic Easter singing and traditional outdoor games, organized by the youth choir of the Church of St. Barbara.
🎶 Music: Performances by the “Barbareum”, “Kompania” and the Orthodox choirs Chores.
🙌 Banse & Praise: An energetic program by the youth group “Territory of God's Love”.
🍔 Gastronomy: Austrian and Ukrainian specialties from the “Territory of God's Love” community.
🧸 For children: Games and workshops from Ukrainian Saturday School, the Free People School and the “Erudyt” school.
🛍️ Marketplace: Hand-made works of art and a book stand from the St. Barbara Ukrainian Library.
🎁 Tombola: Raffle of valuable prizes in cooperation with the organization “TUMA”.
🔥 Rave finale: Performance by a secret star guest from Ukraine!

Why is this important? Your participation is a real help. In 2024 we were able to collect €16,600 together (3 ambulances), and in 2025 it was €14,838 (trucks for the driving school to train people with amputations). Let's make 2026 even more successful together!

We look forward to seeing you again with friends! 🕊️
