🇫🇷 Meet the artists from the French island of Martinik, who first visit Brno with their projects. debate
📖 Reading the author's texts Grizzly and Hush, Friolerito in French with a translation into Czech. The debate with the authors. She chose the photo as a way of expressing. However, it also deals with other art forms, such as sculpture, short film, drawing. Her collection of photographs called Essai Sur Le Nu Nu Masculin was exhibited on the national scene of the Tropique Atrium in Fort-De-France (Martinik). Linda Mitram is also a theater photographer. As part of the Bonjour Brno festival, it will present its photographs from the Littoral cycle (coast) dedicated to the topic of the Ecology of the Caribbean Island Martinik.
👩 Gaël Octavia
She was born in Fort-de-France (Martinik), currently living in Paris. In his artistic work he deals with universal topics, such as social exclusion, discrimination against women, family relationships or migration. Her following Game Congre et Homard was awarded by the jury of the Guadeloup association Textes en paroles promoting the original Caribbean theater texts. In Avignon, other games were also listed, such as Cette Guerre Que Nous N´Avons Pas Faite (which we did not perform) or Rhapsodie. As part of the Bonjour Brno festival, Grizzly (2017) will present its game, with which she got to the final of the Prix Annick Lansman. The text was translated into Czech by Míla Janišová. He is currently studying the field of dramatic writing at the University of Arts and the Theater in Lyon. In his work, he is based on feminist, décolonial and ecological texts of engaged authors (eg poet Audre Lord, philosopher Baptiste Morizot, environmental engineer Malcolm Ferdinand etc.). Her Dictionnaire de la Rouille (Corrosion Dictionary) won the Prix ETC_Carajech Award in 2023. As part of the Bonjour Brno festival, the text of HUSH, Friolerito will present. The text into Czech was translated by Arpine Sahakakyan.
