Otevíráme palubu Cargo Gallery: Hello Marcel + DJ Le Petit Nicolas

Prague embankment comes alive with music again. The renewed Cargo Gallery will open its deck for the first time at the end of May and start the operation of a space that will not only live for concerts - the ship will also function as a place where you can go for a drink, sit by the river and soak up the atmosphere of the floodplain even outside of the evening events. The opening will take place on Thursday, May 28. Entry is free, but due to limited capacity, we recommend booking.

Cargo Gallery has been the same team behind Lucerna Music Bar since the end of 2025. While Lucerna Music Bar has been one of the most important clubs in Prague for three decades, Cargo Gallery represents its new sister project.

The opening night will be hosted by the Czech electronic duo Hello Marcel, who will bring their combination of disco, absurd humor, dance euphoria and saxophone explosions. The evening will be complemented by a DJ set by producer DJ Le Petit Nicolas, who will serve up a kingly portion of catchy melodies, pounding beats and present the most famous pieces from the global bass scene.

The concert will take place in the lower deck of the Cargo Gallery, while the upper deck will be open to the public for the first time as a new daily space for music, drinks and summer evenings by the river. Johannes Benz, aka the alter ego of filmmaker Jan Foukal, will play on board from 8:00 p.m.

Cargo Gallery is already offering a strong concert program across genres - from alternative to hardcore to electronica - and during the season will welcome names such as Hot Water Music, MISSIO, Red Leather, N.O.H.A. or Donny Benét.

Energy, dance, disco, bass and, to top it all, Czech lyrics with exaggeration, this is the Svitava duo formed by Michael Mack and Adam Sodomka, who have been experimenting with various forms of electronic music since 2018 and are building their own world of disco-surrealism. The experience awaits on the floor during the concert and when listening to their studio albums. Today, their creative ether includes three studio albums, several EPs and singles. Now they are going on a concert tour with the new album The Hardest Fortress. Their live show is a dance ritual balancing between club euphoria, absurd humor and unexpected moments of saxophone explosions.
