The NTK Gallery presents an independent exhibition of an important representative of contemporary Slovak Art Otis Laubert (*1946). The key art strategy of the author is collecting and subsequent presentation of collected objects in altered meaning and aesthetic contexts. A characteristic element of Laubert's installations, objects, collages is multiplication, multiplicity, seriality, sorting, systematization, but also specific poetics, humor, finding beauty in everyday and banality. Limited dimensions of the Dejvice Exhibition Hall allow only a few thematic areas from the very rich work of the author: collecting, cartography, vexillology, books-objects, mail-art ... Otis Laubert's exhibition in the NTK Gallery is the first author's independent Prague presentation since his exhibition in the Václav Špála Gallery in 1992. Mikuláštík
