The Slovak Heart Festival will start symbolically on Sunday 1 June in the CNK Garden of Banská Bystrica. The opening concert will perform bands without Lada and Warehouse, Carpathian Backs, Chiki Liki Tu-A and tiles. The program will also include debates. Sunday 1 June 17:00

The Slovak Heart Initiative has been involved to date more than 200 signatories. It is an open challenge for artists and artists, cultural as well as other premises and supporting entities to support the form of Slovakia, which is reported to the values of humanity through various events. This creates a nationwide festival, which will take place from 1.6. to 29.8.2025. From the east, west and center of Slovakia I look forward to the meeting. It follows two successful projects - Slovak tavern and Slovak heating plant. The initiators believe that the situation requires an active approach of artistic and civil society so that Slovakia remains part of the free world where human life has the highest value. The challenge of the Slovak heart is still open to anyone who wants to participate in any form.

The text of the Slovak heart challenge:
We believe that most people in Slovakia weigh human life. We perceive the symbolic shaking of the hand of our country Robert Fico to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin as a betrayal of the basic human values on which our civilization is built, as the betrayal of our country, the European Union and the whole world. “Ravidian states”, where the war is described as peace, where it is despised by other nations and where human life is measured by the price of minerals.
We want to reassure our co -forgotions from the European Union that we appreciate the ideas on which this community is built. We appreciate our membership in the family of democratic European states and want to be a reliable and good partner.
At the same time, we want to reassure people from Ukraine that we value their brave struggle for freedom and humanity and consider it a benefit to the whole free world. We want to support Ukraine in all ways, if possible, each of us. We want to be a good neighbor, especially in the difficult times that Ukraine is experiencing.
Slovakia has found itself at the intersection. We will do everything possible to keep our country standing on the right side of history, on the right side of humanity.
We want to show that people in Slovakia have a heart in the right place.
