🌄 Come to the first public event in the revitalized area at the Gejza Dražďák In Petržalka, where we will enjoy the holiday Cyril-Method Day together! You will be waiting for an improved area of the mountain, the smell of the forest and the goulash, you can cool down with a kofola, soft beer, ice lolly or ice cream, or you can just talk to neighbors and nesusi and spend the day in the company of people who like everything Petržalské. You can taste honey bees directly from the forest park, play table and other games, or have a tattoo!

🪓 The burner from 1779 was the work of Gejza Dražďák, a member of the old Hájnice family, whose brother Ernest also worked as a gamekeeper in Petržalka. According to him, the names also bear the lakes located in close proximity.
🏕️ The area in which the burner is located has been inaccessible, neglected and full of construction waste for many years. We look forward to offering modified surroundings, new opportunities for spending leisure time and background for environmental education. We believe that the area will gradually love (not only) Petržalčians and Petržalčanky and discover its charm - as places to relax, meet or school activities.
🥾 There have been 5 new outbreaks in the locality, there are already 8 of them and all are regularly cleaned and controlled. You will also find 12 benches with tables. The smallest will delight the new playground Šantisko, which was made by self -help employees of the city forests in Bratislava from local wood. New fruit trees were also planted in the area.
📚 The mining plant also serves as a place of forest pedagogy. Educational activities for schools and kindergartens are regularly held here, focused on bees and pollinators. Part of the space is also a mobile Bratislava apiary.
📋 For the whole area, including the burner building, a project of complex revitalization is processed. While it is realized, you can make you a groomed area and a precious piece of greenery in the heart of Petržalka.
