The author of the exhibition is Erik Párči - Slovak artist and musician. He studied intermedia and painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. In addition to art, at the time of the pandemic he made a living as an arborist - he climbed trees and thought about philosophy while working. In his work he uses an analog modular synth and piezoelectric piano, taking music as a way to inner merger - "fight against his own resentment" and trying to embody a sense of unity, similar to a religious experience that is destroyed when we try to reveal overlaid. On his identity and "become someone until it can be" ...
The duration of the exhibition: 28.6. -30.8.2025
The opening: Saturday 28.6.2025 - 18:00, synagogue
Time does not perceive as a straight line, but as a multi -dimensional network of voltage and resonance. For him, reality is a harmony of different rhythms - and painting a way to capture them. He works with matte surfaces that do not reflect light - his works are almost haptic and drawing the viewer. The works open space for various readings: micro and macro, both visually and tactile, while maintaining openness and multiplicity. The flow, but for the complex entity that consists of resonance, tensions and interferences, is, according to this concept, a harmonious harmony of the Barion Mass is an emergency phenomenon on the non -conversion It has not made the world easier to simplify, but from the feeling that a linear understanding of reality is not enough about the world, either through science or by compression of complexity - and often lose the essence of the story. Not because I am a prophet, but we will never be allowed to touch something that can be grasped to this non -representation or illustration of the idea. intuitively, but systematically: I put the strips in various voltage configurations to create the illusion of movement, deep space, instability or the layers only overcome the perception of the viewer. One of my series at the end of the world - it refers to the tension between the demise and the continuation of the physical world. between thinking and feeling. I perceive reality as a harmony of many layers of simultaneous possibilities where each decision creates its own version of the world. Therefore, I reject a clear reading: my images should not be "about something", they are happening. These are fields of oscillations that find their rhythm in contact with the viewer. I believe that it is in uncertainty, transition and tension that shows something more real than in stable form. Instead of showing something, they happen themselves. They are not a picture of the world - they are the story itself.
Painting is not a goal, but a process, a state. Something that wits the time. In a sense, it is also an act of defiance: against stagnation, against the totalitarianism of meaning, against the comfort of the closed world. I do not want to "wake up" from the illusion - because maybe she is our only way to look for.
I touch haunrological tones. I think of the risomed way of being. My works do not offer leakage, but stay in liminal space. I leave tension without solving. I do not lead the viewer to relief or certainty. I offer him the opportunity to sit inside the tension. Not like cruel gestures, but as an act of trust that this is where something real is happening.
