Otvorenie výstavy / Ivana Mojšová - LET IT GROW

We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition of Slovak author Ivana Mojšová/Let It Grow in the curatorial concept of Sylvie L. Čúzyová

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday 25. Contemporary, Jurkovič's Tepláreň. a plane where it experiments with polarities of a traditional depiction of painting, with elements of historical painting, versus the contemporary autonomous construction of painting painting with overlaps into abstraction. Even in the framework of painting motifs Mojšová continuously calls on stereotypes and archetypes, building latently disturbing non/realistic situations. Her work themes female identity, body, sexuality, faith and cultural symbols in a way that exceeds individual experience. Ivana Mojšová offers us a new mythological matrix, in which we can put our own paintings, questions and pain. In the space between the body and the symbol, there is a ritual in which we are all actors - without certainty, who the hunter is and who is the prey.
