About event
We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition of Czech author Jan Rybníček/Mezi Nii in the curatorial concept of Zuzana Danková
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday 18 September at 19.00 in Dot. Contemporary, Jurkovič's Tepláreň. people. In figurative compositions, it examines both relationship and internal positions of a person, often through layering, structures and empty sites. It is these "cut -outs" and "views" that are becoming a tool for a new composition in which it reveals and covers it simultaneously. In some work, the author uses a felt background that evokes a soft, tapeseer character of the surface and at the same time brings a new material layer to his painting language. This visual language, based on the alternation of revealed and hidden, allows the viewer to enter the intimate dialogue, which takes place "between us". (Zuzana Danková, curator)
