evening for parents of children who 'do not fit in standard boxes'. And that need support and recognition.

"It takes a village to raise a child" is an age -old African saying that is perhaps more necessary than ever today.

In the past, children grew up in a natural community: neighbors, family, friends and villagers formed the safety net together. Growing up happened together - with support, recognition and shared responsibility. But in our modern society, many families get isolated, especially if a child is just a little different than average.

This parent evening is dominated by that original idea: a community in which your child can be who it is - and in which you as a parent feel you supported and heard.
