About event

This salon is part of the ongoing conversation The Neurobiology of Womanhood, a series exploring how the female brain evolves across life.

Modern life often asks women to balance many roles at once. From professional responsibilities, relationships, family, and personal ambitions. Yet even when everything seems to be in place, many women report feeling persistently exhausted.

This salon explores female energy through the lens of biology.

Together we will examine how the nervous system responds to stress, how cortisol and chronic pressure influence our energy levels, and how hormonal rhythms shape the way women experience fatigue and recovery.

The evening will also explore an often overlooked factor in resilience: the biological importance of connection and social support for the female nervous system.

The conversation will be guided by DI Emilia Bessenova, Co-Founder of VITAMARIE-Women of Science, an AI health companion that helps women understand and work with their hormonal cycle rather than against it, and Dr. Zhanna Kosm, a biochemist and former United Nations public health adviser who now works as a health and nutrition consultant helping professionals restore energy and resilience through science-based lifestyle strategies.

Through a mix of scientific insight and personal reflection, participants will consider where their energy truly goes, and how it can realistically be restored in the context of modern life.
