Outlet Drift is an experimental band that combines traditional indigenous songs, dances, art and rituals of Amis into an intense, meditative and spiritual musical experience. Their Lady of Ocean album from 2020 won the 32nd year Golden Melody Awards for the best album in the indigenous language and was nominated for the best band award. In 2018, their single The Largest Era won the best rock song for the 12th Golden India Music Awards. They performed at large festivals such as the Spanish Primavera Sound, and took a tour of Europe. Sinks are noise-rock trio from Brno. Musically, groovy bass lines with complex, but dance beats and minimalist, explosive guitar. In the lyrics, they deal with rage, pitfalls and the issue of life in late capitalism. Pionera (Alicante, Spain) She likes a summer atmosphere with a little wild music, that's exactly what Pionera can serve. The band is from Alicante and was created a few years ago around Katafúa, the legends of the alternative scene of the Spanish -speaking part of the world that someone may know from the Chilean band Famile Miranda. Katafu with Familea Miranda released a lot of great records (the last ones at the established Bcore label in Barcelona) and have traveled all Latin America and Europe on many tour. In the end, he settled in Spain, in Alicante connected with drummer Hector and bassist José to continue to do the music as they did all their lives.
What to expect from Pionera? The basic characteristics might sound: their music will not leave you in peace. You will be half dance, half nervously, after ten seconds you will sing the choruses, and not letting your eyes out of the performance that Hector can start behind the drum kit all the time. If you want it less esoterically, it is a bit of Dischord/Touch and Go Style, but with a significant admixture seemingly incommensable ingredients like heavy metal in the classic eighty version, progressive punk or South American folklore. Just melody, precise rhythm, unmistakable guitar and irresistible Spanish. A year ago, Pionera took a tour in the middle of Europe and who saw them left the most satisfied. They have released one album called Bolsa de Piedras, but this tour will play newer material from the upcoming second recording. Pionera can become your personal discovery of this summer!
