About event
Learn how to effectively use Ozobots in teaching!
All-day training designed for educators who would like to meaningfully use Ozobots in teaching in various subjects. You will be guided through the training by an experienced lecturer, Tomáš Hájek, who has been working with Ozobots in teaching and in free-time workshops for several years.
OZOBOT is a fun teaching aid that develops creativity, IT, logical and divergent thinking. In addition, this tool works with the STEAM concept, and the tasks that children have to complete with the help of Ozobot also improve them in 21st century skills.
What awaits you in the full-day training:
- you will find out what sensors the Ozobot is equipped with
- we will explain how ozocodes work
- we will talk about what to watch out for when working with children
- we will show an ozobot classroom with pods for educators
- you will try working with Ozobot
- you will invent your own story and then tell it with the help of Ozobot
- you will get access to improvements that we at Prototyce have developed ourselves
Let's talk about ways to work with Ozobot EVO mini robots. Participants will learn how to use Ozobot EVO robots for future work with children. Together, we will solve tasks that will teach the children the basics of algorithmization and the logic of programming. We will learn how to use ozocodes correctly, we will talk about pitfalls and difficulties that children may have when working with Ozobots.
Experienced lecturer Tomáš Hájek will also guide the training participants through the environment of the Ozoblockly program.
Together we will review the resources available to educators. You will learn about the possibilities of using Ozobots in various thematic areas. We will show you how Ozobot works with the STEAM concept in teaching and also
The lecturer will share with you his personal tips supported by his own experience of working with children in schools and in interest groups.
< br/>Educators will get very good input information for further use in content and specialized subjects.
