In many countries, this critically endangered species at the limit of extinction.
But there is hope. 🌱
In the German countryside, a farmer, mechanic and food engineer - none of them is an expert in the area of animal protection - seeks to save these most difficult flying birds. They collect their eggs and let them hatch in the incubator. The chicks that they feed themselves then release into the countryside and integrate step by step into the wild population. The engaging protective story is told as an odyssey of one kind and effort to save it.
