The film of Ukrainian director Oksany Karpovych wiretaps is trying to find an answer through two parallel worlds.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion in 2022, the Ukrainian security forces have captured and published thousands of calls of Russian soldiers on the front. These interviews between soldiers and their families reveal the shocking reality of the war - confessions to rape, looting and brutal torture of civilians, but also voices from homes full of chauvinism, hatred and schizophrenic propaganda. Director Oksana Karpovych creates a powerful film unit, where these captured phone calls become a sound trace to the shots of liberated Ukrainian territories. The camera captures the destruction in unhappy shots in which we see Ukrainian villages, towns, houses and highways after their liberation from the Russian occupation. Sound and image exist in constant tension - a country reminiscent of a post -apocalyptic computer game is accompanied by the voices of people who stand on the other side of the front, but probably are also dead.
