About event
🕯️ (P)considerate Christmas: Put on a wave and share a cake
The final Sunday of Advent will belong to slowing down, sharing stories, making decorations, music and cakes that you bring to the table together.
There is warmth in the community - and we want to feel it as much as possible.
🌿 Danka will prepare an original decoration and this time too you will take away a fragrant, natural Christmas from Trenčín all the way home.
Marianna will capture the moments that will be available in the online gallery.
💌 At the event, you will also find space for letters to Santa and a poster with the story of the family we decide to help this year.
🎄 Program on December 21 - Put on a swag and share a cake
14:00 - The story of the tree that became Christmas
We will start by talking about a tree that will get a second chance to shine - and you will give it a new life.
14:30 - 15:30 - Workshop:
Two ornaments - one for your home tree, the other for a "tree in not the best condition", which we will decorate and brighten together.
16:00 - Reading with Dominika Šikulincová
The author will come to read her book, while you will see her own illustrations on the canvas.
4.30pm – Trio Amabile concert (Christmas jazz)
Trio Amabile will create a soft, festive atmosphere with a concert lasting 20-40 minutes.
after 5.00pm – Joint song and tree lighting
Let’s light up the decorated tree with joint song
5.20pm – Winter cinema and free program
We will screen a selection of fairy tales thematically linked to the workshop.
🫶 During the entire event:
– a community table for sharing cakes,
– an exhibition of the story of the family we will support,
