About event
🎄 (P)considerate Christmas: Zobni z Ozdôbka
Experience the time before Christmas differently - slower, more fragrant and in the company of people with whom you feel good.
(P)considerate Christmas is created in Trenčín as a response to the desire to bring more kindness, togetherness and natural beauty to December.
🌿 Marianna, V.okamihu photographer, and Danka from the sustainable farm and flower shop Černuška will create a space where parents, children and friends can experience the atmosphere of Christmas without haste - with workshops, stories, films and lively, ecological decorations.
Danka will take care of the decoration, which will enchant without leaving behind plastic waste.
Marianna will prepare an online gallery of experiential photos that you can view at home - because she the most beautiful photo is created when you are comfortable with someone close to you.
💛 The event also has a deeper dimension. In the Advent season, we are reminded that many families among us need support. This year we are deciding to help one of them as a community - because consideration is more important than ever.
🕒 Program:
14:00 – Lecture on the life of birds in the city and gardens
We will start with a short talk about who actually lives in our green surroundings and why it is important to feed the birds.
🎨 14:30 – 16:30 – Creative workshop: Christmas feeder for songbirds
A feeder that helps birds survive the winter will become your natural Christmas decoration.
You can make it yourself, with children or with a loved one. You can come and go as needed.
🎬 16:30 – Winter cinema
We will show classic fairy tales thematically linked to the workshop.
📖 17:30 – Reading with the author L. Cabal
The writer will come to read examples of his work and you will be able to see illustrations from his book on the screen.
🍷 18:00 – Free program
Space for conversations, punch, community meetings and enjoying the decorations.
