About event
Paceshifters (NL) + Ian Clement (BEL)
Captivating droning indie rock
Mainstage | Ticket: €16.00 Paceshifters always wrote their music from a live perspective, but decided to take the opposite approach for their new album 'Out-and-Outer'. A daring choice for a band that has been working for more than fifteen years and has built up a fan base with their live shows. She carried that reputation to places like Pinkpop, Zwarte Cross, SXSW and shows in the UK, Poland, Canada, Germany and Serbia. The sound on the new album has stadium rock allure, but also flirts with shoegaze and post-punk. It is said that change is the only constant in life and Paceshifters have captured that transience on 'Out-and-Outer' in a collection of sincere, heartfelt songs that still pop off the stage live despite the production choices. The album will be released in September, after which the band will tour our country again. On November 23 they will make a stop in VERA.
Reconnecting with consensus reality. This is how support Ian Clement describes his search. After some hard rock years as frontman of Wallace Vanborn, he makes time for tenderness and observation in his solo project. He creates space where light and dark appeal to the imagination. He shares his soul with a deep, intimate voice.
